The Dockside- which is in the Sag Harbor American Legion building- has a patio overlooking the harbor as well as a pleasantly airy space inside. Local wines, such as a rosé from Channing Daughters, are sometimes featured. The menu is a nice mix of seafood and locally sourced salads and entrees, like roasted oysters and shrimp and scallop dumplings as well as fried whole sea bass with ginger soy reduction. Regulars know to ask for the specials every night. The Dockside uses free-range poultry, meats with no hormones or antibiotics, and provisions are local otherwise.
