Il Capuccino is a traditional Italian restaurant, right down to the raffia-covered Chianti bottles hanging from the rafters. It has little nooks and corners, one small room leading to another, soft lighting, and a menu with the old favorites. If it didn't invent garlic knots, it certainly brought them to the East End. The menu has familiar and comforting dishes, along with steamed mussels or clams marinara, and salads with a special house dressing. The wine list, mainly Italian, is classified by region and reasonably priced.
