LDV Hospitality oversees the eateries at Gurney's, which include Tillies, open seven days in season, 7 a.m.-10 p.m., the Beach Club, seven days, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and Scarpetta Beach, seven days, 5-11 p.m.
Scarpetta Beach with a seafood-centric nod to Italian and Mediterranean cooking, this is ambitious eating in the resort's large, refurbished main dining room and outdoor deck. Primi piatti choices include crispy frito misto and seared scallops with peas and morels. You may find lobster and asparagus tagliatelle at the top end of the pasta choices, for $33. Main dishes include black cod with caramelized fennel and tomatoes for $36 and a dry aged striploin for $49. There is a very impressive wine cellar.
Tilles is the resort's breakfast, brunch andlunch and options with the basic eggs, waffles, pancakes, and bagels in the morning. Lunch selections include soups and salads, steak frites, lobster rolls, burgers and crab cakes.
The Beach Club Bar and Grill makes it easy for patrons to enjoy grilled seafood and barbecue without having to wash the sand off their toes. It also serves wraps, sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs.
