Fewer than 100 nonresident, full-season beach parking permits remain available for purchase, according to an announcement from East Hampton Village Hall sent out Monday afternoon.

The cost for each permit is $750 plus a 6-percent online credit card surcharge; the village notes that the nonresident passes can only be purchased online.

Parking passes purchased this way allow a driver to park one car at Main Beach, Egypt Beach, Wiborg's Beach, Georgica, and Two Mile Hollow between May 15 and Sept. 15. Nonresidents who miss out on a full-season beach pass can still pay a single-day rate to park.

The permits went on sale for residents of East Hampton Town on Jan. 23 and to the general public on Feb. 1. For village residents, they are available year round and do not cost anything.
