The outreach ministry at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church has invited the public to join in a fund-raiser to support the Rural and Migrant Ministry that will include a Justice Walk on Saturday from St. Thomas Episcopal Chapel to Amber Waves Farm, both on Main Street in Amagansett, starting at noon.

The nonprofit Rural and Migrant Ministry “works for the creation of a just, rural New York State through nurturing leadership, changing unjust systems and structures, and standing with the disenfranchised, especially farmworkers and rural workers,” according to the mission statement on its website.

The goal of the walks, held across the state as virtual fund-raisers, is to “bring awareness to those who feed us.” More about the walk can be learned by calling the St. Luke’s office. Donations to support the cause can be made at by clicking here.
