For Robert Dale Nielson

A service for Robert Dale Nielsen of East Hampton will take place on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home here. A celebration of his life will follow at Kizzy T’s at 47 Montauk Highway in East Hampton from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Sheila Dunne Jones Bono

Sheila Dunne Jones Bono, a retired special education teacher who worked first in East Hampton and later at the Tuckahoe School in Southampton, died of complications of a stroke on April 15 at the Acadia Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Riverhead. She was 80.

For John J. Karpinski

Visiting hours for John J. Karpinski of Amagansett and Long Beach, Miss., will be Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton, with a funeral Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Montauk at 11. Burial will be at Calverton National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. that day. Mr. Karpinski died on April 23 at the age of 74.

Sheila Isham, 96, Widely Shown Artist

Sheila Isham, an artist whose work had been shown in gallery and museum exhibitions around the world, died of pneumonia in Manhattan on April 9. She was 96. Ms. Isham lived in Sagaponack for over 50 years and had a painting studio in Southampton.

Barbara Ann Anderson of East Hampton, a former switchboard operator and accounting secretary, died at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital on Feb. 22 of complications related to surgery. She was 80.

Mark H. Nason died on April 9 in Vandalia, Ohio. Mr. Nason grew up in East Hampton and was an Air Force veteran. He was 67. A service will be held at a later date in Ohio.

A lunch celebrating the life of Janet Rose Dordelman of Springs will be held on May 4 at noon at the Springs Firehouse. Mrs. Dordelman, who ran a beauty salon in the hamlet for many years, died on Aug. 8 at the age of 89.

Paul F. Nugent Jr.

Dr. Paul Fordham Nugent Jr., a native of East Hampton, was an Air Force officer, flight surgeon, and military hospital commander who later served as medical monitor for NASA’s manned spaceflight program. He died in Cincinnati on April 6 at the age of 95.
