PSEG's Special Offer on 10-Pack LED Bulbs

For a limited time, PSEG is offering its Long Island customers energy-efficient dimmable LED lightbulbs for $10 for a box of 10, with free shipping.

Two types of lightbulbs are offered, 65-watt-equivalent flood bulbs, and 60-watt-equivalent standard, or A19 style, bulbs. Both are warm white in output tone and can be used in enclosed fixtures. Energy consumption is between 8 and 9 watts each, and they last an estimated 25,000 hours, or about three years of continuous use.

Each PSEG-L.I. customer can purchase up to two 10-packs; shipping is free on all orders. The limited-time offer will expire on Aug. 12 at 11:59 p.m., or until supplies run out. The cost per bulb is about half that usually charged at big-box stores for dimmable LED blubs.

LED lights are both long lasting and energy-efficient. LEDs can cut energy consumption by up to 80 percent, which can save money and save the environment. They can also last up to 25 percent longer than the average lightbulb. The PSEG offer is at
