Lynch, Wilkinson at Montauk Beaches

East Hampton Town Highway Superintendent Stephen Lynch, left, and East Hampton Town Supervisor Bill Wilkinson in Montauk, went from one beachfront location to another on Sunday, directing heavy-equipment operators to pile sand at potential entrance points for possible historic Atlantic Ocean surges that are expected from Hurricane Sandy.
