The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, a nonprofit created by Congress in 1984, has awarded Concerned Citizens of Montauk a $323,000 grant to addressing coastal resilience in Montauk and on Napeague. It is the largest grant the nonprofit has ever been awarded.
Beacon Led Rescuers to Man Whose Boat Sank Off Montauk
A man was rescued three miles southwest of Montauk Wednesday free-floating in the ocean with no life jacket. The one thing the man did have — an emergency position-indicating radio beacon — allowed Coast Guard Station Montauk and the Air National Guard to locate and save him.

Hotel Tax Money a Boost for Lighthouse
