Race Lane

Race Lane occupies a bright, high-ceilinged place on, yes, Race Lane in East Hampton Village, walking distance from the railroad station. For starters there are oysters and clams on the halfshell, grilled octopus, and a shaved asparagus salad. Interesting dinner choices include pea risotto, pork chop milanese, and Cornish game hen with polenta. The side order of lobster mac and cheese ($12) is in itself worth a visit.
