On the water on Lake Montauk's east side, Rick's has a large menu of seafood and barbecue that includes pulled pork, ribs, burgers, a local clam and oyster raw bar, local striped bass, scallops and grilled tuna. A popular side is the house made onion rings. Prices are reasonable, as is a wine list on which every bottle is $30. Rick's is a good choice when you are pulling out of the Gin Beach parking lot with a carload of hungry kids, as its $8.95 children's menu has the essential chicken nuggets and mac and cheese, and the kids can play on the lawn or look at the boats while waiting for their meals. Interesting to note: Rick's is the home of "Montauk Pearl" oysters, which you'll see in floating racks just off its marina dock. There's a relaxing outdoor waterfront bar and raw bar with Montauk Pearl oysters, clams and shrimp. Also s'mores by the firepits in the sand. A great place for dinner for small or large parties.
