This is not your grandmother's Ruschmeyer's, think Montauk chic as interpreted by Rob McKinley, late of Surf Lodge renown, and Ben Pundole, who spent years with Ian Schrager and Morgans Hotel Group. What you get is more hipster summer camp with cocktails than old school. There is an outdoor bar with lounge chairs and space for bocce games. There are 18 rooms in cabins arranged in a semi-circle up the hill from the restaurant. Like the dining room, most have views of Fort Pond. The menu features seafood at dinner. There is breakfast available to non guests, as well as overnight customers.
