You won't soon forget the ocean and sky vista from the inn's every dining table. Few restaurants on the South Fork occupy such prime real estate, but the prices are relatively moderate by seaside standards. The Surfside accommodates large groups, and you can have coffee and dessert on the porch. The menu includes mussels and crab cakes, artichoke and brie dip, killer clam chowder, lobster and shrimp, and plenty of Montauk fish. For meat lovers, there are barbecued ribs, braised pork shank, grilled rib eye and braised short ribs. Reservations only for large parties.
