You won't soon forget the ocean and sky vista from the inn's every dining table. Few restaurants on the South Fork occupy such prime real estate, but the prices are relatively moderate by seaside standards. The Surfside accommodates large groups, and you can have coffee and dessert on the porch. The menu includes mussels and steamers, artichoke and brie dip, killer clam chowder, lobster ravioli, linguini with clam sauce, and plenty of Montauk fish. For meat lovers, there are barbecued ribs, braised pork shank, lamb chops, and prime rib. Reservations only for large parties.
