The Tuscan House is serious about Italy. The ambience, menus, and wine list are all Italian. You can forget you are in the heart of Southampton in its pretty bar and as you walk through the arches to the dining room. The lunch and dinner menus are out of the ordinary. Figs are used in a number of dishes, there's a rabbit with fennel entree, a traditional osso bucco, and some 16 pasta dishes.
