WashOut is a project of the people behind Traffic, a bar and restaurant with Manhattan locations in Midtown and Hell’s Kitchen, that seem to cater to the beer pitchers-and-sports crowd. The N.Y.C. menus include basics such as potato skins and chicken quesadillas, sliders, sandwiches, and burgers. If they take that philosophy east, you might find filet mignon, pork chops, grilled salmon, or chipotle shrimp among the dinner entree choices. The sprawling, roadhouse-like joint is near the Montauk train station, 6,500 square feet with three bars, a raw bar, and an outdoor patio.
