The menu has innovative choices, such as a pork shank with peach mostarda and homemade coleslaw and fried Brussels sprout leaves with toasted walnuts, capers, chilies, and honey vinaigrette. Candles give the dark interior a touch of the romantic, which attracts a young and frequently ebullient crowd. The restaurant is one of several, among them Fresno, Bell and Anchor, the Beacon, and little red, of course, owned by the same people.
