Lulu’s Wine Dinner

Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor will hold a five-course dinner with Bordeaux wine pairings at 6 p.m. next Thursday. The menu features dishes such as grilled cuttlefish, roasted quail, and slow-cooked short ribs. The cost is $110 per person. Reservations are by calling the restaurant.

Wine Class

Park Place Wines and Liquors in East Hampton will hold a class on Tuscan wines at 5:30 p.m. next Thursday. The cost is $15. Reservations are by calling the store.

After School at Rowdy

Rowdy Hall in East Hampton is offering a special kids menu from 3 to 6 p.m. on weekdays, not including holidays. A Rowdy meal includes an entree, and a choice of salad, vegetables, or French fries. The entrees include grilled cheese, chicken wings, chicken skewers, and chicken fingers, all for $10 each, and pan roasted salmon for $14. À la carte dishes include mac and cheese for $7, fish and chips for $10, and an iceberg lettuce salad for $6. Each entree comes with a complimentary ice cream sundae.

Brunch at Coche Comedor

Starting Saturday, Coche Comedor in Amagansett will begin offering brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The menu features dishes such as tortillas with eggs, salsa verde, pickled red onions, and queso fresco, as well as guacamole toast and chicken enchiladas. 

New Catering Menu

Bel Mare Ristorante at Maidstone Park in Springs is offering a catering menu. Appetizers and entrees are available in half and full trays (prices range from $50 to $110); the former feeds approximately 8 to 10 and the latter 16 to 18. The menu features appetizers such as clams casino, Caesar salad with chicken, and pasta salad. The entrees include veal Marsala, penne Bolognese, lasagna, chicken Parmigiana, and 16-inch pizzas (prices vary depending on toppings).

Chowder Contest

Share the Harvest Farm will hold a chowder contest and fund-raiser on Nov. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Springs Tavern. Clam, fish, chicken, corn, and other chowders will be prepared by home and professional chefs, including those from Smokin’ Wolf BBQ, Breadzilla, the Clubhouse, and Stuart’s Seafood. After purchasing a mug for $20, attendees can sample the chowders and vote for their favorites. Proceeds will benefit the farm and the Springs Food Pantry. Tickets can be purchased at the door or on the farm’s website.
