East Hampton Town

A.R.B. on LTV

Meetings of the East Hampton Town Architectural Review Board have been added to the lineup of programs on LTV,  channel 22. The meetings, at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, will be covered live and will be re-aired on Fridays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at midnight and 10 p.m. They can also be seen online at the LTV Web site, at ltveh.org.

LTV also provides live coverage of East Hampton Town Zoning, Planning, and Town Board meetings, including the latter’s work sessions, as well as meetings of the East Hampton Village Board.

Two C.P.F. Purchases

A hearing will be held by the East Hampton Town Board at 7 p.m. next Thursday on the purchase of 3.7 acres on Duryea Avenue, along Lake Montauk, with $1.6 million from the community preservation fund. The parcel, which is adjacent to a town launching ramp, is owned by the Bistrian Land Corporation.

Also that night will be a hearing on a smaller purchase of open space — a quarter-acre at 291 Three Mile Harbor Road owned by John and Winifred Dowling, for $45,000. The money also will come from the community preservation fund.

The hearings will be at East Hampton Town Hall.
