Southampton Town's Great East End Clean-Up will take place on Saturday and Sunday, having been rescheduled from the spring because of Covid-19.

The annual event was established more than 10 years ago, and typically hundreds of residents team up to pick up trash along roadsides and trails and at beaches and parks, sometimes collecting as much as 50 tons of it in one weekend.

This year, masks and social distancing will be required. Groups or individuals looking to take part can visit southamptontownny.gov, following the link for the Great East End Clean-Up, or they can call 631-287-5745.
