Joe McKee, East Hampton High School's head football coach, said Tuesday that East Hampton's junior varsity team has begun a 10-day quarantine period after one of its players, a Pierson student who played in Saturday's game with Babylon's jayvee, tested positive for Covid-19 over the weekend.

He added that one of the jayvee's assistant coaches had been in isolation with the disease for two weeks, had recovered, and has tested negative. That coach would be back with the jayvee team when it resumes its season, McKee said.

All the varsity players and varsity coaches tested negative Tuesday.
