Farm Dinners

Amber Waves Farm in Amagansett will hold an outdoor dinner featuring oysters and other summery fare paired with wines from Wolffer Estate Vineyard at 5:30 on Saturday. Lidey Heuck, the assistant to Ina Garten of Barefoot Contessa fame, will host the event. The cost is $100, and proceeds will support the farm’s food education programs.

On Sunday, the farm will have a dinner with food prepared by Jack Formica and Allan Wyse at 7 p.m. Guests will be given a tour of the fields prior to being served a multi-course meal at a common table. The dishes will be paired with wine from a local vineyard. The cost is $225 per person. The chefs will also oversee the menu for a dinner on Aug. 11 at the same time.

Pizza-making classes will be offered on Fridays in August from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost for the family friendly classes is $40 per person. Tickets to all three events can be purchased on the farm’s website.

The carts are also available to rent for private parties. The cost ranges from $600 to about $1,000 depending on the size of the party.
