A 32-year-old Southampton man was arrested Saturday in Springs on two charges, including a felony, after he allegedly violated an order of protection.

Carlos M. Rodriguez Martinez was charged with felony criminal contempt in the first degree, misdemeanor criminal contempt in the second degree, and second-degree harassment, a violation, at about 1:50 a.m., just hours after disobeying a court order to stay away from a residence on Gardiner Avenue. He was allegedly there twice on Friday, police said, once at 8 p.m. and again at 11, when he allegedly pushed the victim during an argument.

East Hampton Town Justice Lisa R. Rana had signed an order of protection in March 2018. Police withheld the protected party’s name because the matter is classified as a domestic case.

Justice Rana arraigned Mr. Rodriguez Martinez later on Saturday, releasing him on $700 bail.

Bradley Bloeth, 28, of North Massapequa was arrested on a felony criminal mischief charge in Montauk on Aug. 25. According to police, he kicked in the door to his room at the Sands Motel there at about 12:30 a.m., causing structural damage to the door, its frame, and the hinges, costing about $1,000 to repair. The charge is at the felony level because the damages were more than $250. Police released Mr. Bloeth on an appearance ticket and $260 bail that evening. He is due in court next Thursday.
