Roomful of Teeth, a Grammy Award-winning vocal band dedicated to reimagining the expressive potential of the human voice, will perform new music by some of today’s most visionary composers next Thursday at 6 p.m. at The Church in Sag Harbor.

The group is workshopping new works by Christopher Cerrone, Mingjia Chen, and Eliza Bragg during its weeklong residency at The Church, in preparation for its premiere performance there, which will be followed two days later by a sold-out show at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall.

The group’s discography includes its self-titled first album, released in 2012, which was awarded a Grammy for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance. Their latest album, “Rough Magic” from 2023, used groundbreaking recording techniques and earned them their second Grammy in the same category.

Tickets are $30, $25 for members and students.
