Returning to the Village Board

Voters in East Hampton Village returned two incumbents to the village board, both of whom ran unopposed in the election on Tuesday. 

Carrie Doyle, who was elected in 2022, and Jason Tuma, who was appointed in October following the resignation of Sarah Amaden, were on the ballot. According to Marcos Baladron, the village administrator, Ms. Doyle received 143 votes and Mr. Tuma received 123 votes. 

Far behind were Ray Harden, a former member of the board as well as the village’s zoning board of appeals, who received two votes, and Bugs Bunny, who received one.
