Thu, 10/12/2023 - 10:12

Jose Galosgalos of Riverhead, 28, was arrested on Sept. 30 and charged with two felony counts of criminal mischief in the second degree.

Town police said that Mr. Galosgalos had thrown a black Samsung smartphone against the wall of a house on Accabonac Road in East Hampton the evening before, shattering its screen. A few hours later, he allegedly punched the driver’s-side door of a 2014 Jeep, breaking the mirror, and also punched and bent the driver and passenger side doors, both of which could no longer be closed properly.

He was arraigned in Justice Court before Town Justice Steven Tekulsky, who released him on his own recognizance to await a future date in court.

They Know When You've Been Bad or Good

East Hampton Village is now home to 14 Flock license plate reader surveillance cameras, which amounts to one for every 108 full-time residents, if you go by the 2020 census data.
