The Montauk Chamber of Commerce’s farmers market will begin Thursday on the downtown green and will run weekly from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Aug. 29 and for two Fridays in September.

This year there will be more than 35 vendors selling gourmet specialties, fresh produce, pickles, pastas, home baked goods, teas, and more.

And, if you're looking to get out of town, there are still some seats available for the Chamber of Commerce’s annual trip to Mohegan Sun on June 20. The bus will leave from the chamber building on the Plaza at 7 a.m. and return to Montauk around 9 p.m. The cost — $60 per person — includes the bus, fast-ferry transportation, a casino package, and tip. Reservations can be made through the chamber at 631-668-2428.
