Grant Money for Water Improvement

Thu, 06/13/2019 - 12:33

Anyone interested in obtaining a grant from the Town of East Hampton for water quality improvement projects can now request an application through the Natural Resources Department’s website or by email. Up to $1.25 million is available for the first round of awards.

Members of the town board’s water quality technical advisory committee have established a biannual grant process. Applications will be accepted from tomorrow through Aug. 15 at 4 p.m. Once the window closes, all applications received will be reviewed and rated by the committee, which will make recommendations for grant awards to the town board.

Application request forms can be found online, or can be emailed upon request. Questions and completed applications can be sent to Mellissa Winslow of the Natural Resources Department at 631-324-0496 or mwinslow@ehamptonny.gov.
