Designer Duds for Rent
Tulerie, a business that allows women to rent designer clothing and accessories via a smartphone app, is operating a pop-up shop at the Montauk Beach House through Labor Day. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the store offers nightly rentals of dresses, tops, skirts, and handbags. More information is on the hotel’s website.
Mixer at Airport
The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce and the East Hampton Aviation Association will hold a mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the airport’s main terminal. Steven Ringel, the chamber’s executive director, will provide an update on pending projects such as the Aug. 17 East Hampton Village summer fair.
Admission is $10, free for chamber members. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
The Shed Toasts Summer
The Shed, a women’s co-working space in Sag Harbor, will host a summer kickoff party at Goldie, a women’s clothing boutique new to 127 Main Street in that village this evening from 5:30 to 8:30. Those who arrive early are promised a gift bag that will include a Shed T-shirt designed by Goldie. Light bites and signature cocktails will be served.
Next Thursday, the Shed will host the last in a series of women-only master classes, this one on summer entertaining with Janet O’Brien Caterers and Events. Ms. O’Brien will guide participants through the stops to “planning and executing the perfect summer party” from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wolffer Wine Stand in Sagaponack. Tickets cost $65 per person, $55 for Shed members, and can be purchased by searching “the Shed” at eventbrite.com. Wine and light bites will be served.
