This coming weekend will be a busy one sports-wise, with the Artists and Writers Softball Game at East Hampton’s Herrick Park Saturday afternoon and Ellen’s Run at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Sunday morning.
But that’s not all: There is to be a 16-draw pro-am doubles tennis tournament at the Shinnecock Tennis Club in Southampton on both days with Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev, Karen Khachanov, Grigor Dimitrov, Kyle Edmund, Feliciano Lopez, Sam Querrey, Bob and Mike Bryan, Fernando Verdasco, and Tommy Paul, among other pros, paired with “the Hamptons’ most ambitious amateurs.” The online men’s fashion retailer MR PORTER is the sponsor.
And there will also be a masters swim meet Saturday benefiting the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research at the house of Billy and Dominique Kahn at 25 Georgica Close Road in East Hampton, beginning at 10 a.m.
