Harborfest Time!

Whaleboat races, one of the highlights of HarborFest, will begin on Saturday at noon and on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

It’s Harborfest weekend so Saturday and Sunday will be packed with activities. in Sag Harbor Village, including a crafts fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Marine Park, sidewalk sales from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the business district, and children’s games from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Long Wharf.

At Windmill Beach, a kids’ tug of war will be held at 11 a.m. on both days, and a potato sack race will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The annual children’s corn-shucking contests will be held on Long Wharf on Saturday at 1 p.m., and at Windmill Beach on Sunday at 1 p.m. Whaleboat races will begin on Saturday at noon and on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and continue into the afternoons.

There will be food vendors and live music on Long Wharf throughout the weekend, and the Complete Unknowns, a Bob Dylan tribute band, will perform at the Bay Street Theater on Saturday at 8 p.m. The full the schedule of events can be found on the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce’s website.
