Thu, 09/05/2019 - 22:44

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and finding the person who caused damage to vehicles in Sagaponack earlier this summer.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers

On Thursday, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers issued a bulletin with an image of a man who Southampton Town police detectives said placed screws in two streets —  Potato Road and Daniel's Lane — in late June and early July. Tires on approximately half a dozen vehicles sustained damage.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Tips can be submitted by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637), or by emailing tipsubmit.com.

All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
