On Camera With Bay Street Theater

Performers ages 13 and up can take a class in on-camera auditioning with Bay Street Theater on Saturday at 10 a.m. Meghan Rafferty, a casting director from New York City, will help teens and adults learn and practice their scenes. The class costs $175 and is held at LTV Studios in Wainscott. More information is online at baystreet.org.

Legos at Last, and More

The children's Lego Club is back at the East Hampton Library, starting Monday. Children ages 5 to 11 can have fun with the iconic blocks from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. each Monday. An adult must be present with children 7 years old and younger, masks are required, and advance sign-up is required at easthamptonlibrary.org.

For kids in the sixth through eighth grades, there will be a workshop in making glowing bouncy balls on Tuesday from 4 to 5 p.m. Registration is limited to four children.

And finally, for teens, this year's Battle of the Books titles will be revealed in a library Zoom session on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Battle of the Books is a competition that will run through April 2021, and students receive community service hours for their participation.

Art All Around You

Tomorrow, the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor will post a challenge called Art Around Town! in which children ages 5 to 8 can explore public sculptures and then make their own out of paper. Look for the program on the library's Facebook and YouTube pages.

The John Jermain teen advisory group will meet virtually on Friday from 4 to 5 p.m. Those who take part will earn community service hours. A sign-up link can be found in the events calendar at johnjermain.org.

Book Clubs for Teens

Every Friday in November, the Montauk Library will have online book club meetings for teens. The first discussion will be on "Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes," by Suzanne Collins, at 7 p.m. tomorrow, followed by a discussion of the young-adult graphic novel "Pumpkinheads," by Faith Erin Hicks, at 7:30. Sign-up is at montauklibrary.org.
