Susan Rosenberg, the author of “Trisha Brown: Choreography as Visual Art,” the first in-depth study of Ms. Brown’s work, will give an illustrated talk about the choreographer’s career, answer questions, and sign copies of her book tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill.

Ms. Brown is the first female choreographer to receive a MacArthur Foundation Fellowship and is the creator of more than 100 dances, six operas, and one ballet. She was a founder of the legendary Judson Dance Theater, a collective of dancers, composers, and visual artists who were at the forefront of interdisciplinary art during the 1960s and 1970s.

Tickets are $10, free for members and students. Copies of the book will be available for purchase in the museum’s shop.
