Argentinean Music at the Parrish's Salon Series

The Salon Series at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill will conclude its spring programs Friday at 6 p.m. with an evening of instrumental music and Spanish-language songs from Argentina performed by the New Docta Ensemble.

Consisting of Solange Merdinian, a mezzo-soprano, Sami Merdinian on violin, and Edward Fisher on piano, the group will perform works by Argentinean classical and contemporary composers, tango, traditional folk songs, Brazilian and contemporary jazz, and American musical theater songs by George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, and Stephen Sondheim.

Tickets are $25, $10 for members.
