Friday nights in Sag Harbor will get a little warmer this winter with Bay Street’s new series Fireside Sessions With Nancy Atlas. Each Friday night at 8 in January and February, Ms. Atlas will be joined by a special guest.

First up on Friday, Jan. 3, will be Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Following will be Andy Aledort, a sideman for Dicky Betts, on Jan. 10 and Danny Keane, a funk and R&B keyboardist, on Jan. 17. Future guests will be announced at a later date. The cost is $15 per evening, and tickets will be available at the door the night of the performance or through the Bay Street website.

Ms. Atlas is familiar to many on the South Fork from her performances both solo and with her band, the Nancy Atlas Project, which has opened for performers such as Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Buffett, and Crosby, Stills, and Nash. She lives in Montauk.
