Bluegrass and BBQ
The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill will wrap up its Sounds of Summer series of outdoor music tomorrow afternoon at 5 with its annual Labor Day weekend “Bluegrass and BBQ” celebration.
Edith Gawler and Bennett Konesni, musicians and work-song scholars, will play old-time fiddle and banjo music, Swedish dance tunes, and farmers’ ballads and hollers. Barbecue and specialty drinks can be pre-reserved or purchased at the event from the Golden Pear Cafe. Table seating is reserved for cafe patrons. Tickets are free with museum admission, which is $10, free for members and students.
