Classical Concerts

At the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill

The Parrish Art Museum’s Salon Series will continue this weekend with two concerts by Andrew Staupe that will include music by both classical and contemporary composers. The performances will take place tomorrow at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Water Mill museum’s Lichtenstein Theater.

The program will include Franz Schubert’s Four Impromptus, D. 935; Ballade, a piece from 2000 by Sarah Kirkland Snider, a composer and new music advocate, and works by Claude Debussy, Ottorino Respighi, and Heitor Villa-Lobos. An award-winning pianist, Mr. Staupe has performed at venues in Amsterdam, Moscow, Romania, and France, among others.

Tickets are $20, $10 for members.
