Monday is the final film submission deadline for the Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival, which will take place Dec. 6 through 8 at Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theatre.

Filmmakers from Montauk to Manhattan can submit their entries as a short (up to 40 minutes), a feature length (41 to 180 minutes), or a student film (maximum of 15 minutes).

The festival has created its first industry advisory board with six members of the documentary film community, mostly residents of the South Fork. It will have an event preceding the festival at Bay Street on Sept. 22, which will include a screening of “The Loving Story” by Nancy Buirski, with a discussion with the director to follow. The festival’s gala will honor D.A. Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus of Sag Harbor.

Further film submission information is available at ht2ff.com.
