Five personal bests and a season best were recorded by members of East Hampton High’s girls winter track team at a crossover meet Saturday at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood.

Three of the personal bests were clocked by sprinters in the 55-meter dash, namely Marisol Chamale’s time of 8.19 seconds, Lillie Minskoff’s 8.29, and Anna Carman’s 8.62.

Mimi Fowkes’s 8:46.62 was a personal best for her in the 1,500-meter racewalk, and Juliana Barahona’s heave of 26 feet 101/2 inches in the shot-put was also a personal best. In addition, JiJi Kramer’s 8:54.60 in the racewalk was a season best.

Ava Engstrom, who broke the school’s 3,000-meter record recently, at 10:57.36, placed third in Saturday’s 3,000, in 11:12.27.
