Big Drop Is Here

A favored stop of celebrities like Katy Perry and Eva Longoria, Big Drop is launching its fourth retail fashion boutique, at 66 Newtown Lane in East Hampton, later this spring. It will join the flagship store in SoHo and offshoots on the Upper East Side and in Miami.

The 1,133-square-foot store will offer a wide spectrum of women’s clothes and accessories, including swimwear, denim, blouses, dresses, jewelry, and shoes from independent designers and popular labels. This summer Big Drop anticipates hosting promotional parties, trunk shows, and other events surrounding the brands the store carries.

Weitzman on the Circle

Calling all fashionistas: Stuart Weitzman will open a pop-up shoe store this summer in East Hampton. It will open its doors at 53 the Circle on May 25, and a cocktail party is planned for the official Memorial Day weekend opening.

The store reflects a resort lifestyle, with beach and sandal styles in its summer collection, and provides a buy-now, wear-now array of products. From thong-flats to jellies to wedges to platform stilettos, the new store will offer fashionable yet comfortable summer footwear designs.
