New on Newtown
A new clothing store has arrived. After a successful pop-up in East Hampton last summer, Anthony Thomas Melillo has opened his second brick-and-mortar store, ATM, at 20 Newtown Lane. The store will highlight the brand’s minimalist approach to style, according to a release. Men’s and women’s pre-fall 2017 collections are featured, as well as items available only in the store.
Big Flower’s Back
Big Flower, an apparel and accessories brand, has opened for a second season in East Hampton as well. The store features men’s and women’s collections and lifestyle products. It is also debuting the Little Flower Collection, a new line for boys.
At 23 Newtown Lane, the shop will display work by local artists. Its hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Elliman Goes Big
Drivers may soon notice Douglas Elliman Real Estate advertisements on Long Island Expressway billboards and wrapped around Hampton Jitney buses. The campaign, “It’s Time for Elliman,” hopes to spread a message about the emotional and financial importance of real estate transactions, according to a release. The company, which has offices and brokers in all the South Fork villages and hamlets, says the ads are designed to celebrate diversity in America and underscore how its sales agents help guide clients when they are buying a house.
Conservancy Campaign
The eastern Long Island chapter of the Nature Conservancy has launched its first-ever water quality awareness campaign, joining the conservancy’s New York City campaign. Announced last Thursday, the “Depends On Us” campaign emphasizes the importance of water quality by showcasing everyday activities that depend on clean water. It will present broadcast, print, and radio messages, with video content available at Nature.org/DependsOnU
