Fancy.com at Montauk Beach House

This weekend the Montauk Beach House is hosting fancy.com, a New York e-commerce site, for a three-day shopping event showcasing various products and retailers across fashion, beauty, fitness, nutrition, home, and more.

The photo-sharing web store and mobile app will have items on hand from such vendors as Parker NY, Neat Nutrition, Schiller Bikes, Red Carter, Jurlique, Bella Vita, DishesOnly, Kiwano, and LifeBEAM. Ric Pipino, a “celebrity hairstylist,” will be on hand to work his magic, too.

The event will happen Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Entrepreneur Award

Michael Nardy of Sag Harbor, the chief economics officer of Electronic Payments, has been named a New York finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from EY, a multinational professional services organization, formerly Ernst & Young.

Electronic Payments is a privately held payment and transaction company that serves businesses in all types of industries and “acquires new clients through a network of agent banks, sales agents, and independent sales offices,” according to a release from the EY, the organization that founded the awards program. Electronic Payments has offices in Calverton, Boca Raton, Fla., and Washington State, and serves businesses around the world.

Under Mr. Nardy’s leadership, the company has seen “six office expansions and three acquisitions,” according to EY. It is the 34th largest merchant acquirer in the United States.

New York award winners, chosen for excellence in financial performance, innovation, and “personal commitment to their businesses and communities,” will be announced next Thursday at the New York Marriott Marquis. A national winner will be announced in November.
