Cruising Organic Avenue
Organic Avenue has once again opened its doors, and juicers, on Job’s Lane in Southampton. Offering a “live, organic, vegan experience” — L.O.V.E. — Organic Avenue sells soups, salads, entrees, snacks, and juices geared toward those seeking to follow a vegan or raw-food lifestyle.
“We’re looking forward to the same sunny reception this year as we continue to spread the L.O.V.E.,” Denise Mari, the founder of Organic Avenue, said in a release. She has four Organic Avenue locations in New York City. All of the stores offer cleansing programs and online shopping with local and national delivery at organicavenue.com.
The store in Southampton is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. through mid-October.
Wine and Networking
The Parrish Art Museum’s Business Council will hold this year’s networking event at Bedell Cellars in Cutchogue on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Members of the local and regional business community will have an opportunity to meet and sample wines from the North Fork and ale from the Southampton Publick House. There will be hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and music by Next Level, a steel drum band.
Tickets cost $40 for Parrish members, $50 for nonmembers. There will be Hampton Jitney transportation from the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton at 4:15 p.m., returning at 8:15. The trip costs $10 and reservations are required.

Made in the Shade
Eleni Preston, a longtime Sag Harbor resident, designer, and goldsmith, has opened a new store in East Hampton. Made, tucked comfortably into its spot on Race Lane, is, according to a release, “a fusion of studio, gallery, and retail, celebrating the work of artisans with a passion for what they make.”
The store will sell items both functional and beautiful, original and reclaimed, from around the world. There are household and personal items, and the store also boasts vintage finds “imbued with personality.” Exploration and experiment, said the release, means the wares will be ever changing.
This month, the store will be open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
