L’Occitane at Bhumi

From today until Sunday, L’Occitane, a beauty skin care company, will take over East Hampton’s Bhumi Farms, with proceeds supporting the farms efforts to donate organic produce to New York City charities. L’Occitane made an exclusive product assortment for the weekend, which will feature fragrances, home essentials, skin care, and body care. There will also be on-site hand massages, beach tote decorating, and free samples when shoppers tag @loccitaneusa on Instagram. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 131 Pantigo Road.

A New Partner

Zwirko & Ortmann Architects, founded by Greg Zwirko and Bob Ortmann, who have worked together in their East Hampton location for more than 30 years, has announced that Michelle Hugo is now a partner, making the firm’s name Zwirko, Ortmann & Hugo Architects, P.C. 

Ms. Hugo, who lived in Amagansett as a child and moved back there five years ago, earned a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Colorado. She has now worked in the field for almost 20 years.

 

Tesla’s Happy Hour

A happy hour mixer today hosted by Tesla, the maker of electric cars, will include wine and hors d’oeuvres free of charge for members of the East Hampton Chamber of Commerce. The cost is $10 for nonmembers. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Tesla showroom at 50 Newtown Lane. 

Steven Ringel, the chamber’s executive director, will give an update on various projects that Tesla is working on.

 

Amagansett Retail Pop-up   

Until the end of July, Amagansett’s Love Adorned will host a pop-up selling Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s clothing and accessories line, Elizabeth and James. According to a release, the Elizabeth and James offerings include summer-ready items from fashion, accessories, and fragrance. Both brands collaborated with Jimmy Sheehan, an artist, on hand-painted leather zip pouches, which retail for $180. The partnership will also include a Love Adorned pop-up at the Elizabeth and James store in August, and a pop-up in Love Adorned’s NoLIta shop in October. 

 

Nancy Rose in Sag Harbor

Every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Hamptons Gym Corp. in Sag Harbor will host a Nancy Rose Performance pop-up shop. According to a release, Nancy Rose Performance is “workout wear that is as functional and comfortable as it is fashionable.” The gym is at 1 Bay Street.
