Trunk Treasures Abound

    London Jewelers on Main Street in East Hampton will hold a designer jewelry trunk show on Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. Samantha Yanks, editor in chief of Hamptons Magazine, will join in to co-host at 5 p.m.

    The show will spotlight new and extended collections from many designers including David Webb, David Yurman, H. Stern, Ivanka Trump, Sutra, Suzy Fox, and many others.

    Summer refreshments will be served.

Farther Afield

    Town and Country Real Estate, along with the Manhattan Mortgage Company, is hosting an art exhibit featuring the oil seascapes of Carol Gold tomorrow evening at its Southold office.

    Ms. Gold has had 21 solo exhibitions and is the recipient of numerous ribbons, awards, and prizes.

    The opening wine-and-cheese reception will run from 4 to 7 p.m., at 57125 Main Road in Southold. The show will remain on display through Sept. 6.

B.N.B.’s Second Quarter

    Bridge Bancorp Inc., the parent company of the Bridgehampton National Bank, has announced net income and earnings per share for the second quarter of 2011.

    Some of the highlights for B.N.B.’s second quarter include core net income of $2.7 million and $.42 per share, a 22-percent increase in core net income over last year’s second quarter; net interest income of $10.5 million, a 17-percent increase over the same time last year; and total assets of $1.193 billion as of June 30, a 23-percent increase from June 30, 2010.

    “The activity for the company during this quarter and the first half of 2011 has been significant,” Kevin M. O’Connor, the president and chief executive officer of Bridge Bancorp, said in a release. “This has been an exciting time as we continue building on this momentum, delivering products and services to our customers and profitability to our shareholders.”
