Bling for Pets

Catherine Malandrino’s clothing boutique at 25 Newtown Lane in East Hampton will have a trunk show on Saturday featuring special treats and couture for canine companions.

Bling Bone, a line of fine jewelry and accessories for pets and pet lovers, will donate 15 percent of the proceeds from the event to the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons. Dogs and their owners will be welcomed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Eye Advice at White’s

Renee Stern, a former beauty editor for Mademoiselle and the host of “The Renee Stern Beauty Show” on cable TV, will be at White’s Pharmacy in East Hampton on Tuesday to give advice on using her Renee Stern Cosmetics eye shadow.

From 2 to 5 p.m., Ms. Stern, who is a “color authority,” according to a release, will offer how-tos and advice about which of her 30 shades of eye shadow best bring out the eyes. White’s is at 81 Main Street.

Retailers for the Retreat

More than 20 East Hampton Village retailers — including Gail Rothwell, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Juicy Couture, J. Crew, Scoop, Madewell, and Theory — will keep their doors open late on Wednesday night and donate the proceeds of the evening’s sales to the Retreat, a domestic violence shelter in East Hampton.

Called Shop at Sunset, the event comes from Ms. Rothwell and Amy Conway, a jewelry designer who last year launched Love Truly Matters, a foundation that works with local organizations that empower women and children. When Ms. Conway planned a trunk show at Ms. Rothwell’s shop on Newtown Lane and then mentioned the foundation, an idea was born.

Patterned after New York City’s Fashion’s Night Out, there will be music, refreshments, and trunk shows at the retailers’ various locations. The founders hope it will turn into an annual event.

Skin Care Launch

Essencia Skin Care will launch its 100-percent organic facial rejuvenation cream at Coastal Home in Bridgehampton next Thursday.

Essencia is the brainchild of Rebecca Underdown, an acupuncturist from La Jolla, Calif., who began putting together ingredients from New Zealand and Hawaii in her kitchen three years ago, eventually developing the Essencia Skin Care product line.

The launch will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Coastal Home, which is at 2422 Main Street.

Organik Trunk Show

Organik, a Hawaiian line of lifestyle clothing made of recycled materials and sustainable, organic cotton, will be front and center at a trunk show all day Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Montauk’s Kailani store, which specializes in “aloha spirit.”

The event features a Sirens and Sailors reception, with pu-pus (light food) and drink, from 3 to 7 p.m. Kailani’s address is 729C Montauk Highway.
