“Local Talent @ SCC,” a new program of the Southampton Cultural Center that showcases the work of local performing artists, will present a piano duo of Ellen Johansen and Marlene Markard on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Both women, who live in East Hampton, are classically trained pianists who have performed at venues in New York City and throughout Long Island. When not performing, Ms. Johansen teaches all levels of piano study as well as Musikgarten, a program of early childhood music education. Ms. Markard is a member of the Suffolk Piano Teachers Foundation and was recently licensed as a Musikgarten teacher.

The concert will include Fauré’s “Dolly Suite,” Op. 56; Poulenc’s Sonate; Schubert’s Fantasie in F minor, Op. 103, and Ravel’s “Ma Mère L’Oye.” Tickets are $20.
