Mainstage Auditions

    Bay Street Theatre is holding auditions on Saturday for its 2014 Mainstage productions “Conviction,” “Travesties,” and “My Life as a Musical” and for Literature Live’s fall production of “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Equity principal auditions will take place from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. at the theater.

    Scott Schwartz, artistic director, John Sullivan, associate producer, and Will Pomerantz, associate artist, will attend the auditions. Actors have been told to prepare brief monologues of no longer than two minutes. Those auditioning for musical productions have been asked to prepare 16 bars of music to sing. An accompanist will be provided. All applicants have been asked to bring a picture and résumé, stapled together.
