The Shelter Island Presbyterian Church will present a community sing-in of Handel’s “Messiah” on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Shelter Island Community Chorus has invited all choristers and other interested singers on the East End to participate in the singing of the Christmas section (Part 1) and the “Hallelujah” chorus.

The church choir has offered to lend 40 copies of the score to those who need them. A social gathering in the church’s fellowship hall will follow the sing-in.
