Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor will present a performance tomorrow by Mike Marshall, a mandolinist, and Darol Anger, who plays violin, and an evening of cabaret on Saturday with Judy Carmichael, a Grammy-nominated pianist, singer, and songwriter. Both shows will begin at 8 p.m.

A fluid jazz improviser and three-time Grammy nominee, Mr. Marshall draws from American roots, Brazilian choro, and European classical music. Mr. Anger has been central to the evolution of the contemporary string band, having been involved with such ensembles as the Republic of Strings, the Turtle Island String Quartet, and the Montreux Band. Tickets to their performance range from $25 to $35.

Ms. Carmichael, a longtime Bay Street favorite, will perform “Sexy Songs and Lovely Laments,” a celebration of love songs that will include her own compositions and anecdotes as well as selections from the Great American Songbook.

Known for “Jazz Inspired,” her weekly NPR broadcast/podcast, Ms. Carmichael has performed at important concert halls and festivals throughout the world as well as in private recitals for Rod Stewart, Robert Redford, Bill Clinton, and Gianni Agnelli of Fiat. She will be accompanied at Bay Street by Harry Allen on tenor saxophone, Chris Flory on guitar, and Neal Miner on bass. Tickets range from $35 to $55.

The theater has also received a matching challenge grant from the Century Arts Foundation and Bay Street’s board of trustees, who will match donations dollar for dollar up to $100,000 to support its free Literature Live! student initiative.
